Commissioning and acceptance testing

A system that only hits rate on a good day is not finished. We write the test plans against the specification, witness the tests and support the first weeks of live operation.

When to call us

  • Installation is ending and acceptance is being scheduled.
  • The only test plan was written by the integrator.
  • You need a ramp-up plan that protects service levels.

How we approach it

  1. Write factory and site acceptance test plans traceable to the specification.
  2. Witness testing and record results against the agreed criteria.
  3. Track punch lists and retests to closure.
  4. Plan ramp-up and hypercare with operations, and verify sustained rate.

Questions

What is the difference between factory and site acceptance?

Factory acceptance proves the equipment works before it ships. Site acceptance proves the installed system meets the specified rates and accuracy with your products, your software and your people.

What if the system misses rate?

We document the shortfall against the contract, separate equipment causes from process and data causes, and agree a corrective plan before final payment.

Do you train our team?

We help write the operating procedures and brief supervisors on what to watch during ramp-up.

Talk it through
